Ingke Goeckenjan studied law at the University of Trier and the Free University of Berlin, legal clerkship at the superior court of appeal in Berlin, doctorate at the Free University of Berlin, habilitation at the University of Osnabrück (teaching qualification for the subjects of criminal law, criminal procedure law, criminology, juvenile criminal law and penal system). Since 2014 holder of a chair for criminal law and criminal procedure law at the Ruhr-University Bochum. Jens Puschke, studies in law at Humboldt-University of Berlin, legal clerkship at the Superior Court of Appeal in Berlin, Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Kings College London, doctorate at Freie Universität Berlin, habilitation at Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg (authorization to teach in criminal law, criminal procedure law, criminology, juvenile criminal law and penal system). Since 2016 holder of a chair for criminal law, criminal procedure law, criminology and medical criminal law at Philipps-Universität Marburg. Tobias Singelnstein attended law school at Freie Universität Berlin and earned his doctorate there, preparatory clerkship at the superior court of appeal in Berlin, junior professor in criminal law and criminal procedure at Freie Universität Berlin and habilitation (with the authorization to teach criminal law, criminal procedure, criminology, economic criminal law, and legal theory). As of 2017: Chair of criminology at Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
