The book is useful to Farmers, Manufacturers and Students of Agriculture for learning the amount of seed and fertilizer dropping through seed-cum-fertilizer drills. We can calibrate the seed and fertilizer rate to know the performance of machine during sowing of seeds and fertilizer. Calibration helps to know the seed rate and fertilizer rate of sowing machine. Also, the variation of seed and fertilizer dropping among furrows of particular seed-cum-fertilizer drill and effect of hopper filling amount on seed and fertilizer rate are performance factor of machine. Comparison of these factors with the Standard requirements of the code gives the performance understanding about seed-cum-fertilizer drill. Calibrated seed-cum-fertilizer drill helps in saving of seeds and fertilizer by metering proper amount at which we want to sowing which directly helps in profit of economical way as saving of time, cost and efficiency.
